NAB 2010: Day 2

After a whirlwind day of flights, taxi cabs and set-up, the ikan team has arrived, is completely set-up and is underway at NAB 2010.  On Day 2, you can expect more giveaways, more information about the latest ikan products and continued interaction with our fans!

Yesterday, interest was overwhelming in the brand-new VX series, featuring the latest addition, the VX7.  The VX7 features HD-SDI, HDMI, Composite, Component, a smooth matte finish screen and multiple power options.  Four-pin XLR power, 12-24v variable power inputs and a wide variety of power plate options (DV batteries such as Canon, Sony & Panasonic or Pro Batteries such as Gold or V Mount) make this monitor the all-in-one solution for your field production kit.  And with a resolution of 1024 x 600, it offers the best, most affordable option for the production professional.

And with the VX9, visitors to the booth were treated to an even larger picture, an additional S-Video input and a clear, glossy picture.  The 8.9 inch screen allows for more real estate and makes the perfect director or client monitor.  And in the lightweight, polycarbonate bodies, either VX series monitor is more than adequate.

In camera support, the Elements line continues expanding, with the addition of a line of shoulder support pads.  The unique concept behind the new shoulder supports from the Elements line is their completely modular nature.  Check out the short video below for an exclusive look at the Elements shoulder pads!
